CNS Group (now part of 6 Degrees) is a UK based managed service provider with some amazing clients.
Holding the highest level of security accreditation allows CNS Group to service some major clients. From government departments and the police, to banks, law firms, airlines and SaaS companies.
What They Were Looking For
Their current marketing agency was not performing. Leads were too few and far between and they were costing too much. They knew they needed a change!
What We Were Up Against
Introduced on the back of Bernie’s long history of working with IT and telecoms clients, we could see some major issues straight off the bat. The PPC campaigns were not being tracked, had poor quality traffic and their previous agency weren’t making changes. Although CNS were producing some good content internally, they weren’t doing any SEO. The real challenge was to filter out enquiries from smaller companies with under 200 seats and focus on trying to win big enterprise level business and work with the government.
What did Bernie do?
- Re-built their campaigns and introduced technical terms that only IT teams in big organisations would use (stuff we know from working with other clients in the sector). - Turned a campaign that lost 7% vs. GP last year, to a campaign that returned 760% ROI this year (with deals still to be closed that would take it well north of 1000% ROI. Result!) - We are now in the process of increasing budgets and seeing if we can increase the ROI even more!
